How do I challenge unreasonable attorney fees?

 

Once your audit is complete, forward it to your attorney with a request to correct the errors or provide justification for the questionable fees. 

 

If your attorney fails to respond, and you believe your attorney has violated his ethical duty to charge reasonable fees, you can submit a complaint to the State Bar Association in your state. Mediation, Arbitration, and Civil Lawsuits are also available options.
